We offer scheduled trips for a maximum of 12 people, much smaller than the 20-30 people some companies sqeeze into a trip. Our trips are always led by experienced enlgish speaking guides who have led the same trip before. We provide experienced guides, all in-country transportation, meals, accommodations, porters, cooks, camping gear – whatever the particular trip requires. We take care of all the trip logistics from departure to return, you never have to worry about a thing. This makes us unique among adventure travel companies – nobody provides this level of service and value.
ASA Adventure Travel also offers custom tours for small groups and institutions. Many of our customers enjoy the adventure so much that they ask us to customize another trip in the same region to experience different aspects of the culture and scenery. Custom trips are typically three to six people comprised of a few friends, a family or several couples. We provide the same high level of service and english speaking guides on our custom trips. We also work with colleges and universities to provide educational trips. These can focus on geology, cultural anthropology, botany, or any subject of interest.
Our Main(e) office is in Brewer, Maine. Our clients come from throughout the world, including Switzerland, Australia, Iraq and many of the United States. Owners Eric Clapp and Steve Shepard give every client personal attention and lead several special trips every year.
